We were able to see everything mentioned below, it was great way to experience the town and people and learn more of the history. It was also pretty low key so not a ton of walking great for anyone! The tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable making it a great experience!

We had so much fun on this one! Enjoyed the nice breezy bus ride and then arrived at the hotel. We were seated with great people and the experience was so fun and super interactive! Made 6 different things including unlimited margaritas. Plus we were able to get the recipes and buy the rum for the dessert salsa. After we enjoyed some salsa lessons and enjoyed the beach before heading back.

My husband and I are so happy we chose this as our shore excursion last week. It was fun and entertaining. The hosts were wondeful and accommodating. The BEST part of course was learing authentic ways to make salsas! We loved it so much we bought materials to make it at home. After a fun little salsa dance lesson, we got to spend time in the beautiful, large pool. It`s a must try 12/10 experience.

I’ve done this excursion twice, and loved it each time. The host is lots of fun, the venue is perfect, and it’s always lots of laughs and good times. I feel it’s a very good value likewise. Unlimited drinks, good food, fun, dancing, and time at the pool and ocean. Perfect blend of activities for an awesome day!!!

We chose this as our Cozumel excursion through Disney and had a blast. Wonderful variety of salsas to make to your own preference/taste, many types of margaritas to try, and beginner friendly dance lession by the end. Would totally do this again if we were in the area. Pita was a great instructor for our small group (7 participants in total) and we all were laughing with full tummies trying to dance by the end. Great experience overall.

We purchased this excursion to try to get away from some of the more common beachy Mexican cruise ports and this checked all the boxes. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned. Our guide Akino was FANTASTIC. He packed all kinds of local things for us to try on the drive and talked about it all with us. We made multiple stops on our way to the Sierra Madres and it was all super informative and had a really good flow. There were a lot of opportunities to purchase from local crafters and makers, as well as tip them for sharing their work and history. It doesn`t feel like a cash grab. These people are working and we all show up in a tour bus to learn about their way of life and their craft. I`m glad to contribute to their life for sharing it. Even just a dollar is appreciated, and I appreciated them. So much to learn and see, I`m greatful for this opportunity. Yes, some of it is hard to see but that`s also their reality, not a dressed up tourist hub. There was also so much beautiful art, history and culture.

So much fun! Enjoyed learning how to make the 2 margaritas and 6 salsas while drinking unlimited frozen margaritas! The hotel was nice, the hosts were engaging and fun, and quickly learning to salsa at the end was a bonus. Such a fun excursion! Highly recommend.

This was our first time to Mazatlán. We picked this tour because we wanted to see some of Mexico besides the beach. I`m glad we did! Elmara was a fantastic guide. She explained everything well, she knew everything and everyone at the stops we visited. She also brought snacks! We tried losts of different Mexican favorites. The last stop was a great little restaurant for lunch. It was awwsome! It needs to be on diners drive ins and dives. I would absolutely recommend the tour, and if you`re lucky you`ll get Elmara too!

I read the reviews and was a little leery about purchasing but I’m glad I did! From the moment our guide, Elmara, started sharing her background it was evident she is passionate about her city and surrounding communities. The stops were well spaced and Elmara explained everything along the way. The adobe brick and artisan tile making stops were interesting. The authentic Mexican lunch was nice. My only caution would be for people who have mobility challenges. While the walking distance is limited, we exited the bus no less than seven times not including the port stops. When there is walking it is uneven stone streets and walkways. A great excursion if you are looking for local culture!
