What better place to try scuba than in the beautiful Sea Of Cortes? This experience for non-certified divers will introduce you to this exciting sport and the fantastic underwater world of Cabo San Lucas. After a short but informative knowledge session and a video at the shop, a short boat ride will take you to practice the simple skills in shallow waters in a small beach in front of Pelican Rock. Once these skills are mastered, descend to a sandy area to begin your underwater journey under the direct supervision of the instructor.

Pelican Rock attracts a wide variety of tropical fish, including King and Cortes Angelfish, Moorish idols, Parrotfish, Butterfly fish and Yellowtail surgeons. A colorful collection of invertebrates, starfish, sea fans, urchins and small sponges fill the nooks and crannies of the rocks. Your scuba equipment (including wet suit), professional supervision, complimentary bottled water and transportation are all provided. After the tour you’ll be returned to the main pier. For passengers wishing to visit Cabo San Lucas it’s an easy 20 minute walk through downtown to the tender pier.
